About Engaging Schools

Founded in 1982, Engaging Schools was a national nonprofit organization that collaborated with educators to create equitable and engaging classrooms and schools that support students’ social, emotional, and academic learning and development. Their resources, many of which are now hosted by CASEL, can be used for professional learning about instructional practice, student engagement, classroom management, school and districtwide discipline and student support, and advisory programs.
